Rally Hire Morgan Motorsport offer the following Subaru rally cars for hire in an all inclusive package, tailored for either a one off event, or a complete championship campaign. All cars are available for either asphalt or gravel stages, worldwide.
SUBARU IMPREZA S7 WRC X17 SRT. Originally used by Petter Solburg during the 2001 season, this car has recently undergone a full rebuild. Available either in asphalt or gravel specification, the car is available for hire for a PKR ranging from £41 per kilometre (dependant upon event distance).
SUBARU IMPREZA WRC99 T16 SRT This is a full factory car, used during the second half of 1999 by Juha Kankkunen in the WRC and then run by Prodrive for Marcus Dodd, winning the ANCRO National Championship during in 2000. All major components are serviced by Prodrive, in line with their recommended schedules. The cars suspension has been further developed in conjunction with respected engineer David Potter and utilises Reiger suspension. The guide hire price is £38 PKR.
SUBARU IMPREZA N12 Morgan Motorsport have two 2006 International Spec N12 cars available for hire. Both cars have had an immediate impact in the 2006 season with Mark Higgins dominating the BRC and Anton Alen taking WRC success on the Neste Rally Finland. Both cars are in LHD and maintained in top condition, available for a PKR of £30.
SUBARU IMPREZA N11 Used in 2005 by both Tapio Laukkanen and Niall McShea, this car is a full International Spec car with 2006 upgrades. Available in asphalt or gravel sepcification at a PKR of £28.
Conditions of hire: Whether you are considering hiring for one event or ten, whatever the car, we believe it is useful to look at certain costs in certain ways. Items of cost can be split into easily defined categories - so you know where you are spending your money.
Costs are split into the following areas:
Per Kilometre Rate (PKR) - the rate applied for each competitive kilometre.
Service truck, event labour & transportation charge - This charge is calculated based on each individual events circumstances. We generally recommend a minimum of four technicians on a world rally car and include traveling time within this charge.
Financing charge - this fee is charged to cover car depreciation.
Tyres & accident insurance - We cannot easily provide a quotation inclusive of tyre costs, since we cannot establish this prior to the rally. Insurance is quoted based on a specific driver profile and is charged as a addition.
We only offer a fully supported package, where driver and co-driver arrive and have their sport without hassle. We prepare and maintain our cars to the highest standards and pride ourselves on an almost 100% finishing record - (well accidents will happen!) On event support consists of a minimum of three technicians. We can also arrange for a management car and crew, and also hire you a proper recce car. A Prodrive contracted engineer is also available at additional charge.
All major components are maintained in line with Prodrive rebuild schedules, so the cars should never let you down.
Other notes:
Consumables:
Consumables covers all fluids, brake pads, fuses, nuts, bolts and other minor parts which will need to be
replaced from time to time during service.
Damage:
The hire charge does not allow for damaged parts other than through the accident insurance. All parts fitted to the car in the event of damage will be a chargeable addition. Significant engine / transmission / suspension or wheel damage as a result of driver abuse will be deducted from the deposit. Non-abused component failure is generally covered within the proposal.
Deposit:
Should you choose to contract Morgan Motorsport for rally hire, we would require a holding deposit prior to the event. This deposit will then be held against the insurance excess for the duration of the event.
Invoicing:
Morgan Motorsport will require payment of 30% of the hire charge 7 days prior to the cars due departure from the workshop. The balance of the hire charge will be due following completion of scrutineering. We will require either a bank transfer, bank draft or cash.
Minimum charge:
A minimum hire charge will be levied equivalent to 40% of the total event charge (based on PKR) if hire cancellation (by the hirer) within 7days of the event start or through mechanical related early retirement (within first 30%).
Recce car:
Should you require it, we can also hire you a proper ex-Prodrive recce car at an inclusive rate of £500 per day + transportation , fuel & insurance. (Subject to availability).
Service comfort:
Our standard hire package takes care of the car. We provide a clean service area, complete with awning, ground sheet and taped area. Should you require more razzmatazz, such as a motor home or additional event catering or hospitality, please give us your requirements and we will quote for it.
Testing:
If testing is required prior to the event, the PKR charge would be increased accordingly, together with other labour, accommodation and associated charges.
VAT:
Certain items of expenditure are subject to VAT and will be invoiced accordingly.
Other inclusive charges: In addition to the PKR the hire premium to cover car depreciation is set at £2000 per event day for the S7 WRC, £1500 per event day for the WRC99, £800 for the Group "A" and £500 for the group "N" V5. The only other factors in the make up of the overall hire charge include compulsory on-event accident insurance through Competition Car Insurance, fuel and tyres (all charged at cost).
Recce car / management car: We can provide the use of a fully prepared ex-Prodrive 2000 LHD Subaru Impreza, at an all inclusive rate of £1 per km + fuel + insurance.
Service vehicle: We have two fully kitted out Mercedes Sprinter LWB vans, which carry over £50,000 of tools and spare parts and sufficient wheels and tyres to keep the cars going throughout the event. We also have two large awnings to keep the car and crew dry during service! Use of the service vehicle and comprehensive spares package is inclusive within the hire package, a long wheelbase Mercedes turbo diesel and enclosed trailer. All we charge for additionally is actual fuel for the total event distance (workshop - workshop), together with the parts used and labour cost of the service crew.
Other non hire related event costs: We expect the hirer to arrange and pay for accommodation, food and travel arrangements to get to the event. Alternatively, we would charge for these items at a rate of cost + 2.5%.
Insurance deposit: The insurance includes either a £5000 or £10,000 excess, which is payable as a deposit. Significant engine / transmission / suspension or wheel damage as a result of driver abuse will be deducted from the deposit, with a maximum exposure of £10,000.
Booking deposit: A £1000 deposit is required to confirm the booking, with a further 10% of the overall hire charge payable 10 working days prior to the event. The balance of the hire charge is payable prior to starting the rally.
Minimum hire charge: A minimum hire charge will be levied equivalent to 30% of the total event charge (based on PKR) if the hire is cancelled (by the hirer) within 7days of the event start, or through retirement during the early stages of the rally.The hire charge inclusive of VAT, will be invoiced by and payable to Morgan Motorsport Ltd.
